Raynella Alpacas Raynella Alpacas is located at Gruyere in the Yarra Valley just 10 minutes from Lilydale. We are among the most sought after Wineries in Australia and have ideal pastures for Alpacas.

Raynella Apacas, established in 1996, is owned by Ray and Nell Batty. We started with three pregnant females and 5 wethers. Our herd has grown up to 40 animals, but we try to keep the herd size down to 25-30 as this is a lot easier to manage. We do not show our animals, preferring to sell our animals to small breeders.

We have used a number of stud services over the years, including Peruvian Poderio (white, IAR A12133), Inca Snow Spirit (white, IAR A0665), Purrumbete Lucky Choice (white, IAR A2787), and various stud males.

We now have some good animals, who we are told are very quiet as they all have been raised on the property.
